At Nature Fresh Farms®, we’re committed to nourishing people and the planet through greenhouse farming. Nature Fresh Farms have been family-owned since 1999. Our goal is simple and profound to us: to cultivate a kinder, healthier future. And decades later, we’ve become one of North America’s largest vertically integrated leaders in greenhouse grown produce. We’re growers, for sure, but in more ways than one. Greenhouse builders, plant nurturers, and partners with like minds and kindred spirits.

Big change means big commitment. Nature Fresh Farms® operates and markets over 2,500 acres of greenhouses with sustainable technologies across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. We also ship over 300 million pounds of fresh produce to our customers every year, the equivalent of about 37,500 acres of traditional field farming.

And that’s what we’ve set out to do right from the seed.

At Nature Fresh Farms®, we’ll always be farmers at heart, but with an eye for innovation and a mind for technology, we work tirelessly to advance greenhouse clean growing methods and improve food safety.

We manage pests naturally to reduce pesticides...

...with lady bugs, our faithful guards. Thanks to our Integrated Pest Management system, we can naturally minimize the use of pesticides by using good bugs to tackle bad bugs like mites. Nature Fresh Farms® is also a proud home to 1.4 million bumble bees that naturally pollinate our plants, over 10 million tomato flowers every week plus cucumbers, peppers, and strawberries!

Every drop counts.

We put the green in greenhouse clean. Our closed loop water system creates safe, reusable irrigation that uses up to 90 percent less water than traditional field growing, while continuously recirculating and recycling nutrients for plant growth. The result: lower environmental impact, healthier local ecosystems, and less water used overall.

We nurture nature in smarter ways. To bring the farm into the future, we bring the future to the farm.

Technology that asks plants what’s up? Every plant gets checked on, constantly. In partnership with Dell and Intel, we monitor plant health in real time, so we can act before a problem shows up, not after. It’s how we optimize yields, cut waste, and keep flavor consistent, season after season.

Just outside Leamington, Ontario, on a 2.5 acre plot sits a greenhouse where consumers and scientists put their heads together to create groundbreaking innovations. Since 2015, we’ve been meticulously gathering consumer feedback to test thousands of varieties of peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and berries, so we can bring you some of the world’s best tasting produce. Folks might say we’re a little obsessed in our quest for taste perfection. We’d say they’re right.
