Do greenhouse tomatoes taste as good as field tomatoes?
Greenhouse-grown tomatoes are consistent in quality, flavor, and yield, and they are available year-round. Field tomatoes vary with the season and the weather.
Why is greenhouse produce more consistent in flavor?
Temperature, humidity, and light are controlled to give plants optimal growing conditions 365 days a year. That control keeps taste steady from pack to pack.
Which bell peppers are sweetest?
Orange, red and yellow peppers are sweeter than green because they stay on the plant longer. Green peppers are harvested earlier, which gives them a sharper, more savory taste.
Should I refrigerate tomatoes?
No. Keep tomatoes on the counter, uncovered and away from direct sunlight, where they will last 3 to 4 days. Cold storage alters tomato texture.
Can I grow the same flavor at home from the seeds?
No. Nature Fresh Farms grows first-generation varieties, so seeds saved from that produce are second-generation and express different traits. Seeds are not sold either.
