Ingredients
- 5 Nature Fresh Farms® Sweet S’NAPS™ peppers
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup panko crumbs
- ¼ cup grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp everything spice
- ¼ tsp ground cumin
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450°F, with convection, if available. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
Place flour, eggs and panko crumbs in three separate shallow bowls. Lightly beat eggs to blend.
Step 3
Mix parmesan and seasonings into panko crumbs.
Step 4
Quarter peppers lengthwise. Remove and discard stems and seeds. Cut to desired length. Wash cut peppers but do not dry.
Step 5
Dredge cut, wet pepper strips in flour; then dip in eggs, shaking lightly to remove excess. Lastly, roll in seasoned crumb mixture, pressing to coat well.
Step 6
Transfer coated peppers onto parchment lined baking sheet without overcrowding.
Step 7
Bake in preheated oven for 7 to 9 minutes until coating is golden.
Step 8
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or hummus.
Chef's Tips
No oil or salt needed here for a super crunchy and very flavourful side dish. Layer over burgers or tacos for the ultimate texture topper. You can also bake these in an air fryer, on high, for about 10 minutes.
